1) Kidrobot is seeking a Production Manager in its New York Office.

Candidates with experience in production management or toy design and manufacturing are preferred.

The ideal candidate will have highly developed organizational abilities, a strong work ethic, and a curious mind. A comprehensive working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required. The ability to juggle many tasks at once and maintain a system that tracks production progress is a must. Written and oral communications skills are needed in order to manage personnel locally and abroad in our factories in China.

This person will be needed to learn the current production projects and procedures quickly and be able to adjust and expand the department as the company grows. The production manager is responsible for tracking production, scheduling, and costs of all products as well as coordinating the international shipping of final products. One must be able to organize and facilitate communications between all factories, domestic and abroad, as well as other departments within the company and artists from around the world.

2) ARENA MANAGER
Background: This fall, internationally acclaimed art and photography book publisher powerHouse Books will launch The powerHouse Arena, a brand new gallery, boutique, performance, and events space at their new home at 37 Main Street, in DUMBO. With soaring 22-foot ceilings on the 5,000–square foot ground floor (with over 175 linear-feet of glass frontage and arena-style seating), The powerHouse Arena will showcase a series of landmark exhibitions, performances, and controlled mayhem fusing the worlds of art, photography, design, fashion, pop culture, advertising, music, dance, film, and television into a glorious whirlwind of captivating spectacle.

Position: The Arena Manager reports to the Publisher, Gallery Director, and Publicity Director, and is primarily responsible for: coordinating fine art, custom prints, limited edition, and retail sales; developing and executing strategic sponsorship partnerships; developing and executing in-house events; overseeing the installation and breakdown of exhibitions; coordinating exclusive events including rentals and private tours; researching and establishing vendor relations and terms; curating retail mix for each Arena meta-show; off-site event management; strategizing new revenue streams by leveraging publishing company content for custom premium service applications, publishing ARENA newsletter; developing collector database and maintaining collector relationships; developing and executing marketing campaigns for the Arena. The Manager is expected to work one day of the weekend, 4 days of the work week.
This position requires a detail oriented, multi-tasking, proactive individual who excels under pressure and can function in a high-pressure environment. The position is strongly structured and requires a person capable of both taking direction while working autonomously. Position: The Arena Assistant reports to the Arena Manager, and is primarily responsible for: assisting with fine art, custom prints, limited editions, and retail sales; creating packages for strategic sponsorship partnerships; working in-house events; assisting with installation and breakdown of exhibitions; providing administrative support for exclusive events including rentals and private tours; maintaining collector database; providing administrative support for marketing campaigns for the Arena; maintaining powerHouse Books website; fulfilling online orders; creating and disseminating circulars; maintaining magazine subscription database; maintaining E-bay account; preparing and sending shipments, receiving shipments and processing receiving, and maintaining postage report; general administrative support. The Assistant is expected to work one day of the weekend, 4 days of the work week.

BOOKKEEPER/ FINANCE: pH Cult Media, a hydra-headed entity comprising a magazine, an arena with several subdivisions, an agency, several online presences, and who knows what else, oh yes also a book publisher, an online publishing company which filters cultural events is seeking a part-time or maybe even full-time bookkeeper with accounting experience. He/she will be responsible for keeping the books, as well as doing financial reporting and HR/admin functions.

He/she must have at least 2 years experience working with QuickBooks,
Experience in medium to small businesses and handling non-trade invoicing, accounts payable, and some non-trade accounts receivable. The right candidate needs to be, obviously, very detail oriented, self-motivated, and interested in expanding his/her role to work on important financial and strategic tasks.

· Highly proficient in QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Excel
